If the British butchery sector has a great tradition behind it we also believe it is facing an exciting future, particularly now that so many  more people are taking an interest in the quality and provenance of the food they buy. Independent butchers remain a strong presence in  the meat market and, we believe, will become increasingly patronised and valued. That’s why we offer a comprehensive training programme in all aspects of the trade to young Somerset people, drawing on our knowledge, experience and expertise to provide the country with its next generation of master butchers.
